Coronavirus, in Sicily 50 new positives for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours
There are 50 new cases of Covid-19 registered in Sicily in the last 24 hours, according to the bulletin issued yesterday afternoon by the Ministry of Health.
Nine new hospitalizations, so they increase to 72 people hospitalized, although there are still 10 patients in intensive care. Overall, the current positives on the island rise to 1,019, 947 of which are in isolation at home. There are, however, 11 cured.
A total of 4,072 swabs have been performed, bringing the total to almost 337,800 since the beginning of the epidemic. The total number of victims of the epidemic on the island remains unchanged at 286. As far as the provinces are concerned, 17 new positives were recorded in Palermo. Other 16 in Catania, 7 of these are from foreign countries, 7 in Messina, of these five returned from Sardinia, 3 in Ragusa, of these two returned from Malta and 7 in Syracuse.
