Lupo (Pd): «No exclusion of bank and postal workers from serological tests»
«The exclusion of bank and postal employees from the list of workers to be subjected to serological tests for the detection of antibodies against Covid-19, in view of the planned restart of economic activities, is paradoxical and unjustified, considering that the staff of the banking institutions falls within the categories most exposed to health risks». This was stated by the group leader Pd Giuseppe Lupo who announced a parliamentary question on the subject. «The epidemiological screening ordered by the President of the Region - he continues - must concern all the workers of the banking, postal and insurance sector, who have continued to serve customers throughout the period of blocking activities, with prolonged exposure, therefore, to the danger of contagion. The planning of 'phase 2' in Sicily - Lupo concludes - cannot leave room for improvisation or gaps of any kind, so that the contained spread of the epidemic, recorded so far, is not affected by errors that would open up to dangerous infectious outbreaks».
